Hi!
This is a great article and I wanted to share.
FINRA is warning that social media financial influencers, or “finfluencers,” are creating growing risks for investors—especially those investing on their own. In this fast-moving space, it can be tough to tell the difference between credible advice and hype.
The issue is getting more complex as AI tools pull in content from these sources, which isn’t always accurate or suitable.
Even savvy investors aren’t immune—those who rely on social media are actually more likely to experience fraud and losses.
Bottom line: Social media can be helpful, but it shouldn’t replace guidance from trusted professinals.
